FAUX. Affaire Gardeur (1872). Léon Ernest Gardeur, épicier. Trois types de faux connus : 20F type 1871, 25F Paris et 25F Clermont Ferrand.
Billet dessiné à la main de façon très pâle et approximative, date fantaisiste. Comme pour le 25F Clermont Ferrand, compte tenu de la piètre qualité de ce faux, la carrière de Gardeur n'a durée que quelques mois. Pas de filigrane. Annotation en haut "N°8" et signature.
FORGERY. Gardeur Affair (1872). Léon Ernest Gardeur, grocer. Three known types of forgeries: 20F type 1871, 25F Paris and 25F Clermont Ferrand. Hand-drawn note in a very pale and approximate way, fanciful date. As with the 25F Clermont Ferrand, given the poor quality of this forgery, Gardeur's career lasted only a few months. No watermark.
