FAUX. Affaire Sapène (1876). Jean Pierre et Éléonore Sapène, épiciers. Un tampon "Villefranche sur Saône 7 sept 1937 ANNULE". Très belle qualité de fabrication. Pas de filigrane. Manifestement le billet a longuement circulé avant d'être détecté.
FAKE. Sapène Affair (1876). Jean Pierre and Éléonore Sapène, grocers. A stamp \\\"Villefranche sur Saône 7 Sept 1937 CANCELLED\\\". Very fine manufacturing quality. No watermark. Clearly the note circulated for a long time before being detected.
