Commentary
Extremely rare type and state of preservation. Banknote W.14 / 998 (end of alphabet 14) canceled by a very fine stamp, without cashier's number. Note that the banknote illustrated in the Pick is W.14 / 980. The preservation of the paper is so good that one can still distinguish (particularly on the right on the front) the background printed in cream color under the type in blue and red, intended to complicate the life of counterfeiters. This technique is found on Banque de France banknotes of this period, among others, in the \\\"blue\\\" and \\\"blue and pink\\\" series. Illustrates the type in the KM Indochina
