Monnaie nettoyée et hairlines dans les champs mais excellente frappe, gravure de très bonne qualité, particulièrement au droit. Listels irréguliers. L'effigie du prétendant est remarquablement rendue

HENRY V COUNT OF CHAMBORD

(1820-1883)

Grandson of Charles X, Henri was born on September 29, 1820. He is the son of the Duke of Berry who was assassinated on February 13, 1820 by Louvel. On August 2, 1830, Charles X abdicated in his favour, but Henri followed his grandfather into exile in England and then in Prague. His mother, Marie-Caroline de Bourbon, tried to raise western France in 1832. Her attempt failed. In 1833, Henri V was 13 years old, he was considered to be of age. After the fall of the Empire in 1870, the Legitimists tried to impose the Restoration of the Bourbons on the throne of France. This restoration fails because Henri categorically refuses the tricolor flag, preferring the white fleur-de-lis flag..
