Épreuve d'un billet de 1000 Francs sur papier type calque (19,4 x 11,8 cm), accompagnée d'une lettre datée du 15 septembre 1835 de Monsieur Basin Ainé, fabricant de papier à Paris, à Monsieur le consul d'Angleterre pour présenter "une épreuve qu'on ne peut contrefaire ni décalquer".
