Exceptionnelle épreuve recto verso avec filigrane (gaulois à gauche, poilu casqué à droite).
Type non émis, sans aucun texte ni faciale, ni numéro. D'après Alain Dailly, la Banque de France a imprimé le billet sans valeur faciale en 1947, mais la reprise de l'impression pour ajouter la valeur n'a pas été possible et, en décembre 1964, la Banque a détruit les 10 593 000 coupures en attente dans les chaudière de l'imprimerie de Chamalières.

Exceptional double-sided proof with watermark (Gauls on the left, helmeted infantryman on the right). Unissued type, without any text, face value, or number. According to Alain Dailly, the Banque de France printed the note without face value in 1947, but resuming printing to add the value was not possible and, in December 1964, the Bank destroyed the 10,593,000 banknotes waiting in the boilers of the Chamalières printing works.
