Paire d'épreuves unifaces recto et verso sans filigrane, grandes marges collées dans un carton à fenêtres
Sans textes, ni faciale, ni numérotation. Le recto est le type adopté, le verso est différent et représente le château de Ferney et non celui de Cirey sur la version finale. Les couleurs sont plus vives, le décor différent, Voltaire est habillé en bleu, et sa main gauche n'est pas visible. Cette planche est donc composée du type définitif au recto et du type Ferney pour le verso. L'article de loi est la version avec "travaux forcés" et "non réclusion criminelle", donc d'avant juin 1960.

Pair of single-sided proofs, recto and verso, without watermark, large margins glued in a window box. Without text, nor facial, nor numbering. The recto is the adopted type, the verso is different and represents the castle of Ferney and not that of Cirey on the final version. The colors are more vivid, the decor different, Voltaire is dressed in blue, and his left hand is not visible. This plate is therefore composed of the definitive type on the recto and the Ferney type for the verso. The article of law is the version with \\\"forced labor\\\" and \\\"no criminal imprisonment\\\", therefore from before June 1960.
