Commentary


FAUX. Affaire Gogue (1931). Roger Gogue, ouvrier plâtrier. Deux types de faux connus : 10F Minerve et 500F Bleu et Rose. Réalisation grossière. Il est peu probable que le faussaire ait même tenté de la mettre en circulation. Il se concentrera sur le 500F Bleu et Rose. Le papier utilisé contient un filigrane en marge qui n'a pas de rapport avec le billet.
FAKE. Gogue Affair (1931). Roger Gogue, plasterer. Two known types of fakes: 10F Minerva and 500F Blue and Pink. Crudely executed. It is unlikely that the forger even attempted to put it into circulation. He will focus on the 500F Blue and Pink. The paper used contains a watermark in the margin that has no connection with the note.
