Le parti conservateur danois s’est opposé à l’accord du Kanslergadeforliget (30 janvier 1933) entre le gouvernement (sociaux-démocrates et sociaux-libéraux) et Venstre, qui a provoqué une dévaluation de la couronne.
Pour dénoncer cette baisse de 44 %, il a fait créer le jeton « Stauning krone », symbolisant une monnaie ne valant plus que 56 % de sa valeur. Ce jeton porte le nom du Premier ministre de l’époque, Thorvald Stauning..
The Danish Conservative Party opposed the Kanslergadeforliget agreement (January 30, 1933) between the government (Social Democrats and Social Liberals) and Venstre, which led to a devaluation of the krone. To protest this 44% decrease, they created the \\\"Stauning krone\\\" token, symbolizing a coin worth only 56% of its value. This token is named after the Prime Minister at the time, Thorvald Stauning.
