Bel aspect malgré des marques d’usure sur certains hauts reliefs et un léger nettoyage ancien. Un trou a été rebouché sur la tranche à 11 heures. La médaille présente quelques cassures du flan. Présence de quelques coups et rayures, en particulier sur la tranche

Reverse description : Minerve tenant un jarre du bras droit et une branche d’olivier de la main gauche.
Commentary
Rare médaille avec une représentation inhabituelle pour Clément XII dont les médailles sont par ailleurs abondantes !.

On January 12, 1734, Clement XII carried out a monetary reform relating to the divisional coins, reducing the weight of the giulio and grosso, which is commemorated by a coin which takes up the Latin formula "Aere, Argento, Auro, Flando Feriundo", that of the monetary triumvirs of the ancient roman republic.
