Commentary

Exemplaire issu du médaillier Franklin qui met à l’honneur le tableau de Vincent Van Gogh: Les Tournesols (1888). Il a réalisé plusieurs versions des tournesols à différents moments de l’année quand il fut à Arles. Cette version est celle réalisée au mois d’août 1888. Ce tableau est conservé au Neue Pinakothek de Berlin
