Reverse description : Légende en 5 lignes entourée d’une frise végétale.

Commentary

Exemplaire issu du médaillier Franklin qui met à l’honneur le tableau de Léonard de Vinci : La Vierge aux rochers (1483-1486). Commandée par la Confraternité de l’Immaculée Conception pour sa chapelle à l’église San Francesco Grande de Milan, elle est désormais conservée au Musée du Louvre à Paris.

Théoriquement, le poinçon crabe est censé indiquer un titrage à 800 millièmes.
