Obverse translation : "Lucius Septimus Severus Pertinax Augustus Imperator septimum" (Lucius Septime Sévère Pertinax auguste revêtu de la huitième acclamation impériale).

Reverse description : Mars debout à droite, tenant une lance de la main droite et un bouclier de la main gauche ; à ses pieds, une cuirasse.
Reverse translation : "Pontifex Maximus Tribunicia Potestas quartum Consul iterum Pater Patriæ" (Grand pontife, revêtu de la quatrième puissance tribunicienne consul pour la deuxième fois, père de la patrie).
Commentary
Poids léger. Rubans de type 3. Cuirasse formée d’écailles vue de trois quarts en arrière. Le pan de paludamentum est visible de chaque côté de l’épaule ce qui est inhabituel. La huitième acclamation impériale est datée de l’été 196 après la chute de Byzance. C’est la première fois que nous proposons ce type à la vente !.
