Variété de Feuardent en cuivre jaune. Selon Feuardent, ce jeton rappelle la Paix des Pyrénées, signée le 7 novembre 1659, qui met un terme à la guerre que se livrent la France et l'Espagne depuis 1635.

ROUEN (CITY OF ...)

Ancient city of Veliocasses, Rotomagus develops Roman and becomes Lyonnaise metropolis II at the end of the fourth century. Taken repeatedly by the Normans, it became one of their main stations. It becomes 911 the residence of the Dukes of Normandy. Town in 1144, it belongs to France from 1204 to 1419 when it goes to the British until 1449. The Exchequer of Normandy turned supreme court in 1499 and then in Parliament in 1515. The city is under the Ancien Régime, a thriving center of textile industry ("Rouenneries" and Indian) and trade with Africa.
