Exemplaire frappé sur un flan court et légèrement décentré, forme irrégulière. Très beau buste de Lélien au droit, bien venu à la frappe. Usure superficielle. De beaux détails au revers. Patine sombre

Lélien, probably governor of Lower Germania, revolts against Postumus with the help of the XXX legion stationed in Castra Vetera (Xanten). He took refuge in Cologne, where Postum came to besiege him. Lélien is defeated and assassinated. Postumus, having refused the sack of the city to his victorious troops, finds death in his turn.
