Coments on the condition:
Très bel hémistatère sur un flan bien centré. Droit très bien venu, présentant de beaux reliefs. Présence de quelques fines rayures ainsi qu’une légère faiblesse au niveau du cou du cheval au revers. Patine de collection

Obverse legend : ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Obverse description : Tête humaine stylisée à gauche, les cheveux figurés par trois lignes parallèles ; derrière, séries de globules et une croisette ; au-dessous, un fleuron ; cordon perlé entourant la joue ; un petit sanglier à l’envers à la base du cou.

Reverse legend : ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Reverse description : Cheval stylisé bondissant à droite, avec les restes de l'aurige au-dessus du cheval ; un sanglier à droite entre les jambes ; une sorte de Y devant le poitrail du cheval.

(2nd - 1st century BC)
The Aulerci were subdivided into three tribes: Aulerci Diablintes, Aulerci Cenomani and Aulerci Éburovices. The territory of Aulerques Éburovices corresponds to the current department of Eure. They are quoted several times in Caesar's Commentaries. According to the latter, they would have massacred their Senate favorable to the Romans in 56 BC and would have joined the Unelles and the revolted Lexoviens. In 52 BC, they provided a contingent of three thousand men to the relief army. : Caesar (BG.(II, 34; III, 17, 29; VII, 4, 75; VIII, 7). Kruta: 72.
