FRENCH SOMALILAND

The French Somali Coast is the name given to the territory of the current Republic of Djibouti during French colonization between 1894 and 1967. 1894 corresponds to the merger of Djibouti and the territory of Obock under this name and 1967 marks the change of name of this space in the French Territory of the Afars and the Issas.
