Obverse description : Saint-Michel nimbé, les ailes éployées, tenant une croix longue, plongeant des deux mains sa croix dans la gueule du dragon renversé à droite.

Reverse description : Main ouverte sur une couronne accostée du millésime 1615 et des lettres A C.

Commentary

Ce poids monétaire fut frappé pour contrôler les anges d’or frappés à partir de Edouard IV (1461-1483) et jusque sous James Ier (1603-1625).
Les lettres AC du revers sont celle d’André Caers, balancier d’Anvers.
