Exemplaire sur un flan extrêmement large, ovale, parfaitement centré avec les grènetis complets. Très beau portrait inhabituel. Revers bien venu à la frappe. Patine grise avec des reflets métalliques mordorés. Conserve son brillant de frappe et son coupant d’origine au droit

Obverse translation : “Imperator Diocletianus Augustus”, (L’empereur Dioclétien auguste).

Reverse legend : IOV-I - A-VGG/ -|-// P.
Reverse description : Jupiter nu debout à gauche, le manteau sur l'épaule gauche, tenant un globe nicéphore de la main droite et un sceptre long de la gauche ; à ses pieds, un aigle debout à gauche, détournant la tête à droite.
Reverse translation : “Iovi Augustorum”, (Au Jupiter des augustes).
Commentary
Poids léger. Avec l’intégralité de son argenture. Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Ptéryges avec trois globules sous le paludamentum. Trace de cassure de coin, perceptible au revers dans la légende et dans le champ. Nous n’avons pas relevé d’identité de coin pertinente .
