Reverse description : Rome debout à droite, tenant une lance de la main gauche, serrant la main à la Fidélité drapée à gauche, tenant une enseigne de la main gauche ; dans le champ, une étoile.

Reverse translation : Pontifex Maximus Tribunicia Potestate septimum decimum Imperator octavum Consul septimum Pater Patriæ” (Grand pontife, revêtu de la dix-septième puissance tribunitienne et de la huitième salutation impériale, consul pour la septième fois, père de la patrie).

Commentary

Rubans de type 2. C’est l’une des dernières émissions pour le règne de Commode. Ce type semble plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ouvrages généraux. C’est la première fois que nous proposons ce type à la vente.
