BRABANT - DUCHY OF BRABANT - JOHN III

(1312-1355)

John III of Brabant is the son of John II (1275-1312) and Margaret of England (1275-1318), daughter of Edward of England. He succeeded his father in 1312. He married his daughters: Marguerite (1323-1368) to Louis de Male, Count of Flanders (1330-1384) in 1347 and Jeanne to Wenceslas of Luxembourg, Duke of Brabant (1337-1383) in 1352.
