Reverse description : Cheval à droite, conduit par un aurige dégénéré ; devant le poitrail, une croisette bouletée ; entre les jambes, une lyre accostée de deux astres pointés.

Ce quart de statère est parfaitement identifiable, avec tous les détails bien nets au revers. La joue est nue.

ABRINCATUI (Cotentin PENINSULA)

The Abrincatui were a small people settled in the south-west of the current Cotentin (Avranches). They had as neighbors Unelles, from where a confusion in the attribution of the coins of these two people. The Jersey treasure contributes greatly to the knowledge of this coinage.
