Obverse translation : "Dominus Noster Valentinianus Pius Felix Augustus", (Notre seigneur Valentinien pieux heureux auguste).


Reverse legend : GLORIA RO-MANORVM// (COURONNE)|-// .TESA.
Reverse description : Valentinien II vêtu militairement, casqué, la tête tournée à droite, debout de face tourné à gauche sur une galère voguant à gauche conduite par la Victoire, tenant le gouvernail ; dans le champ à gauche, une couronne.

(17/11/375-15/05/392) Flavius Valentinianus

Valentinian II, son of Valentinian I was proclaimed august at the age of four years. After being driven out of Italy by Magnus Maximus in 387, he was restored to the throne by Theodosius before being assassinated in 392 by Arbogast who preferred him Eugene.
