Commentary
Cette médaille, conservée dans un écrin vert fut remise en 1937 à Monsieur Jean Donnedieu de Vabres (1918-2009). Ce dernier fut directeur de cabinet de Georges Pompidou, secrétaire général du gouvernement, puis président de la Commission des opérations de bourse et de la Commission de la concurrence (future Autorité de la concurrence).
This medal, kept in a green case, was awarded in 1937 to Mr. Jean Donnedieu de Vabres (1918-2009). The latter was chief of staff to Georges Pompidou, Secretary General of the Government, then President of the Stock Exchange Operations Commission and the Competition Commission (future Competition Authority).
