Patine grise hétérogène présentant des frottements dans les champs suite à un ancien nettoyage.  Traces de manipulation. Présence de coups et rayures

Commentary
Médaille attribuée en 1871 à Denis Gavini en tant que Député de la Corse. Il naquit le 8 octobre 1820 à Campile (Haute-Corse) et décéda à Paris le 2 mars 1916. Il est aussi connu sous le nom de Denis Gavini de Campile. Il exerça un premier mandat de député de Corse du 13 mai 1849 au 2 décembre 1851 avant d’être réélu le 8 février 1871 et réélu sans discontinuité jusqu’à la IVe législature prenant fin le 5 décembre 1885. Bonapartiste, il s’opposa à la déchéance de la famille impériale. En janvier 1852, il fut nommé maître des requêtes au conseil d’État et fut préfet du Lot jusqu’en juillet 1862, puis à partir de 1856 de l’Hérault et à partir de 1861 des Alpes-Maritimes. En 1864, il devint commandeur de la Légion d’honneur.
