Reverse description : Athéna nicéphore assise à gauche sur un trône, tenant une petite Niké de la main droite qui couronne le nom de Lysimaque et le coude gauche reposant sur un bouclier orné d'un masque de lion ; à l’exergue un petit croissant posé verticalement tourné à droite.

Coining the name and type of Lysimachus (297-281 avant J.-C.)

Lysimachus (c. 360-281 BC) was one of the leading generals of Alexander. After the death of the great conqueror 14 June 323 BC, a fratricidal battle opposed Diadoques his successors.
