THESSALIE - Phalanna

(IV - III century BC)

Phalanna (Perrhaebia) was located ten kilometers of Larissa on the left bank of Peneios. Originally occupied by Perrhaebi the territory lay between Mount Olympus and Peneios. The mint is small and seems to have been struck between 400 and 344 BC.
