Bel exemplaire sur un flan bien centré, un peu court. Très beau buste finement détaillé de l’empereur, et l’Hilarité bien reconnaissable au revers. Patine grise aux reflets cuivrés

Tetricus I had been governor of Aquitaine before accession. After three years of reign, he was finally defeated by Aurelian near Chalons-sur-Marne in 274. Presented in the triumph of the latter, in Rome, he was pardoned by the new emperor, who ushered in the Senate and appointed him governor of Lucania.
