HOLY LAND - principality of Antioch - RAYMOND Roupen

(1216-1219)

Antioch was the first major city to fall into the hands of the Crusaders in 1098. Bohemond of Taranto and Robert Guiscard, the Normans were formed first Principality. Raymond Roupen belonged to the large Armenian family Roupen that would give several kings in Cilicia. Raymond of Antioch was permanently expelled in 1219 by Bohemond IV.
