Obverse legend : ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Obverse description : Swastika dextrogyre ornée d'un gros globule central, de quatre petits globules et de quatre petites esses. Grènetis et bourrelet périphérique.

Reverse


Reverse legend : ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Reverse description : Cheval libre à gauche, un gros annelet pointé au-dessus et un autre plus petit devant le cheval. Quatre petits annelets pointés juxtaposés entre les jambes. Grènetis de petits traits obliques et bourrelet périphérique.

Commentary


Ces potins sont relativement rares et assez souvent d'un style très fin. Il semblerait qu'il existe plusieurs variétés de ce potin au swastika, selon le degré de stylisation.

Suessiones (near Soissons)

(Second - first century BC)

The Suessiones were important people of the Belgians, stationed on the Aisne in the territory of the province of Soissons. They had to close the Remi, Lingones the Senonian, the Parisii, the Bellovaci and Ambiens. According to Caesar, the two peoples and Remi Suessiones before the Gallic War, had the same laws and the same leaders. They had to clients Meldi the Silvanectes and Viromanduens.
