SPAIN - EMPORION (AMPURIAS)

(3rd century BC)

The Greek Emporion, the Roman Ampurias, today San Martin de Ampurias was founded around 580 BC, perhaps by Rhodian colonists like Rosas (Rhodè) or Phocaeans like Marseilles whose foundations are contemporary.
