Commentary


Suite au démembrement de la Tchécoslovaquie, conséquence des accords de Munich, une République Slovaque alliée de l’Allemagne est constituée le 14 mars 1939. Elle cesse d’exister de facto le 4 avril 1945 lors de la prise de Bratislava par les troupes soviétiques.
Following the dismemberment of Czechoslovakia, a consequence of the Munich Agreement, a Slovak Republic allied with Germany was established on March 14, 1939. It ceased to exist de facto on April 4, 1945, when Bratislava was taken by Soviet troops.
