Exemplaire frappé sous la quatrième République dans un laps de temps très court de moins de deux ans. Nous pourrions avoir affaire à deux séries pondérales différentes, une lourde et une légère.

We have little information on the fourth republic (289-287 BC), a short period between the reigns of Agathokles and Hiketas, before the arrival of Pyrrhus in Sicily. The exiles were recalled. It does not appear that gold, electrum or silver coins were made during this "interregnum".
