Commentary
Ce type monétaire est frappé à l’instigation des mercenaires campaniens. O. Hoover a relevé des poids compris entre 28,27 g et 32,37 g. Pour cette série Castrizio n’avait recensé que sept exemplaires avec un coin de droit et un coin de revers. Semble surfrappé sur un type plus ancien au revers. Quant à G. Buceti, il a recensé vingt-quatre exemplaires avec des poids compris etre 21,23 et 37,05 g.
This monetary type is minted at the instigation of Campanian mercenaries. O. Hoover recorded weights between 28.27 g and 32.37 g. For this series Castrizio had identified only seven examples with a right die and a reverse die. Appears to be overstruck on an older type on the reverse. As for G. Buceti, he identified twenty-four examples with weights between 21.23 and 37.05 g
