Obverse description : Buste lauré, casqué et cuirassé de Sévère II à gauche, tenant de la main droite un sceptre à l’extrémité bouleté qui repose sur l’épaule et de la main gauche un bouclier.
Obverse translation : “Severus ”, (L’empereur césar Sévère pieux heureux auguste).

Reverse legend : VIRTVS A-VGG ET CAESS NN/ -|- // AQ(GAMMA).
Reverse description : Sévère galopant à cheval, vêtu militairement, brandissant une haste de la main droite et un bouclier de la main gauche terrassant un ennemi agenouillé sous les antérieurs du cheval; devant un bouclier ; un autre soldat est face contre sol.
Reverse translation : “Virtus Augustorum et Cæsarum Nostrorum”, (La Vertu de nos Augustes et de nos Césars).
