Exemplaire sur un flan large ovale, parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Usure régulière de chaque côté ne nuisant pas à la lecture de la pièce. Joli revers. Patine marron foncé, granuleuse

Obverse description : Buste diadémé et drapé de Séverine à droite, vu de trois quarts en avant, posé sur un croissant (L15).

Obverse translation : “Severina Augusta”, (Séverine augusta).

Reverse description : Concordia (la Concorde) assise à gauche, tenant de la main droite une patère et de la gauche une corne d'abondance.

Commentary

Sans argenture. Le Docteur Bastien avait répertorié neuf exemplaires en 1976. Un exemplaire est conservé au Cabinet des médailles de la BnF. Nous avions seulement un exemplaire dans le trésor de La Venèra et trois dans celui de Gloucester. Nous n’avons relevé aucune identité de coin pertinente. C’est le onzième exemplaire publié. Prendra le numéro 10f dans le Supplément III du Bastien.
Without silver plating. Doctor Bastien had listed nine examples in 1976. One example is kept in the Cabinet des Médailles of the BnF. We had only one example in the La Venèra hoard and three in the Gloucester hoard. We did not note any relevant die identities. This is the eleventh example published.
