Exemplaire sur un petit flan irrégulier, court sur les légendes. Belle tête de Septime Sévère. Frappe un peu molle au revers. Jolie patine de collection avec des reflets dorés

Rubans de type 1. Le Cohen ne marque pas de différence de cote entre les différentes légions (10 francs or). Pourtant, la IIe Adjutrix fait partie des plus rares, elle est même absente dans le RCV !.

SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS

Septimius Severus was born in 146 in Leptis Magna in Africa (Libya). After a brilliant military career under the reigns of Marc Aurèle and Commodus, he was consul suffect in 185. At the time of Pertinax's death, he was governor of Upper Pannonia.
