Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale et irrégulier, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Beau portrait à l’usure régulière. Joli revers, légèrement stylisé. Patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets mordorés

Caesar arrives in Africa. The final fight is fought at Thapsus on February 6, 46 BC. Juba I, king of Mauretania, and his ally Scipion, are defeated. Unable to escape, Scipio commits suicide in despair, just like Cato at Utica. Caesar creates the province of Africa Nova and gives a new status to the territory of Carthage. He then returned to Rome where he celebrated a quadruple triumph.
