SAVOY - DUCHY OF SAVOY - LOUIS

(1434-1465)

Louis was born on February 24, 1402 from the union of Amédée VIII and Marie de Bourgogne. In 1433, he married Anne de Lusignan, daughter of John of Cyprus, Jerusalem and Armenia and had, on February 1, 1435, Amédée as a child. He died on January 29, 1465 in Lyon. His son Amédée IX succeeded him.
