Obverse description : Buste diadémé et drapé de Sabine à droite, les cheveux relevés, artistiquement coiffés (L5).

Obverse translation : “Sabina Augusta Hadriani Augusti Patri Patriæ”, (Sabine augusta d’Hadrien auguste père de la patrie).

Reverse

Reverse legend : S C À L’EXERGUE.

Reverse description : Vesta voilée assise à gauche, tenant le palladium de la main droite et un sceptre transversal de la main gauche.

Reverse translation : “Senatus Consulto”, (Par décret du Sénat).

Commentary

Poids léger. Même coin de droit que l’exemplaire du British Museum (BMC. pl. 65/2). Type de revers exceptionnel avec ces lettres.
