La galerie d'État Tretiakov est un musée de Moscou fondé en 1856 par Pavel Tretiakov (1832-1898), industriel et grand amateur d'art. Le musée possède l'une des plus importantes collections au monde : plus de 140 000 pièces de collection, dont 15 000 tableaux, la majorité œuvres d'artistes russes, 4 500 icônes et sculptures, et une centaine de milliers de dessins et divers documents graphiques. Les collections sont réparties entre le complexe Lavrouchinski (du XIe siècle au début du XXe siècle) et la Nouvelle Galerie Tretiakov (XXe siècle)..
The State Tretyakov Gallery is a museum in Moscow founded in 1856 by Pavel Tretyakov (1832–1898), an industrialist and great art lover. The museum has one of the most important collections in the world: over 140,000 items, including 15,000 paintings, the majority of which are works by Russian artists, 4,500 icons and sculptures, and around 100,000 drawings and various graphic documents. The collections are divided between the Lavrushinsky complex (from the 11th century to the early 20th century) and the New Tretyakov Gallery (20th century).
