Commentary

Ce type se rapproche des deniers à tête de face de la région de Rouen. Sur cet exemplaire, la tête est barbue et la chevelure nette. Le revers, contrairement aux espèces de Rouen, présente une croix cantonnée de besant et non pas une rose.
This type is similar to the deniers with a facing head from the Rouen region. On this example, the head is bearded and the hair is clean. The reverse, unlike the Rouen species, has a cross with a bezant border and not a rose.
