Reverse description : Felicitas (la Félicité) drapée debout à gauche, tenant un caducée de la main droite et un sceptre de la main gauche.
Reverse translation : “Pontifex Maximus Tribunicia Potestas Consul iterum Pater Patriæ”, (Grand pontife revêtu de la puissance tribunitienne consul pour la deuxième fois père de la patrie).

(02-04/05/238) Marcus Clodius Pupienus Maximus

Pupien was proclaimed emperor together Balbin. After the death of Maximin, he returned to Rome. Some disagreement arose between the two co-emperors who eventually were both murdered by the Praetorian between late April and early May after the new timeline established by A. and M. Christol Chastagnol.
