Commentary


Louis Stanislas Xavier de France (1755-1824) est le petit-fils de Louis XV et le frère de Louis XVI et du futur Charles X. Comte de Provence, il sera successivement duc d'Anjou, comte du Maine, du Perche et de Senonches, duc d'Alençon et Pair de France, duc de Brunoy. Il deviendra roi en 1815 sous le nom de Louis XVIII.
Louis Stanislas Xavier of France (1755-1824) was the grandson of Louis XV and the brother of Louis XVI and the future Charles X. Count of Provence, he was successively Duke of Anjou, Count of Maine, Perche and Senonches, Duke of Alençon and Peer of France, Duke of Brunoy. He became king in 1815 under the name of Louis XVIII
