Exemplaire sur un flan épais, ovale, large, parfaitement centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis complets. Très beau portrait consulaire. Revers de style fin avec une minuscule oxydation de surface dans le champ. Jolie patine gris métallique, légèrement granuleuse avec des reflets marrons foncés

Obverse description : Buste radié consulaire de Probus à gauche vu de trois quarts en avant, tenant le scipio de la main droite (H2).
Obverse translation : "Imperator Cæsar Probus Augustus Consul iterum", (L’empereur césar Probus auguste consul pour la deuxième fois).


Reverse legend : CONSE-RVAT AVG/ -|-//TXXT.
Reverse description : Sol (le Soleil) debout de face, regardant à gauche, tenant un globe de la main gauche et levant la main droite.
Reverse translation : "Conservator Augusti", (Le Protecteur de l'auguste).


Poids lourd. Avec son argenture superficielle. Robe consulaire constituée de la toga picta et de la toga palmata richement décorée. Ce type semble beaucoup plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ourages généraux. C’est la première fois que nous proposons un exemplaire du deuxième consulat pour l’atelier de Ticinum.
