Pièce commémorative circulante issue de la série Patrimoine mondial de l’humanité-Unesco. Le monastère des Hiéronymites (monastère de JERÓNIMOS) est situé à l’entrée du port de Lisbonne. La construction a débuté en 1502 et fut en grande partie financée par les bénéfices des grands voyages d’explorations portugais du XVIème siècle. Le site est classé au Patrimoine mondial de l’Unesco depuis 1983.

The Jerónimos Monastery (Monasterio de JERÓNIMOS) is located at the entrance to the port of Lisbon. Construction began in 1502 and was largely financed by the profits of the great Portuguese voyages of exploration in the 16th century. The site has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983.
