Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation de 111 coins de droit et de 123 coins de revers. Néanmoins ce denier semble plus rare que ne le laissent paraître les ouvrages généraux.

POMPEIA

(54 BC) Quintus Pompeius Rufus

Quintus Pompeius Rufus was the son of Cornelia, daughter of Sylla, and also the grand-son of Quintus Pompeius Rufus who was consul with Sulla in 88 BC Pompeius Rufus was a strong supporter of Pompey he followed Greece. Quintus Pompeius Rufus was tribune of the plebs in 52 BC (R. Syme, p. 558 note 16). He took Pompey and took part in the elimination of Milo, the murderer of Clodius. At the end of the bench, he was accused of violating the law "vi" which is why he was condemned and exiled. He died at Bauli in Campania. His son, Gnaeus Pompeius will suffect consul in 31 BC.
