Ce denier est frappé sur un flan irrégulier et assez large. Exemplaire présentant quelques faiblesses de frappe mais assez bien venu pour ce type monétaire souvent mal frappé. Une patine grise hétérogène recouvert cet exemplaire. La croix du revers apparaît légèrement en négatif au droit

In 1221, on the death of William III, coinage was interrupted in Ponthieu for more than 50 years. By inheritance, the county passed into the family of Dammartin. Edward I succeeded Jean de Nesle in 1279.
