Dans un écrin rouge Vgr Augier, graveur à Saint Sulpice. Traces de coups et rayures. Aspect légèrement nettoyé

Commentary


Le coffret était adressé à mr. Ed. Gillard, archiviste de la société industrielle. Néanmoins, le coffret ne semble pas correspondre à la médaille, le diamètre à l’intérieur est plus petit que le diamètre de la médaille.

Fedot Choubine est un sculpteur russe du 18e siècle, mort en 1805. Il fréquentera l’académie royale de Paris dès 1767 pendant 3 ans.
The box was addressed to Mr. Ed. Gillard, archivist of the industrial society. However, the box does not appear to correspond to the medal; the internal diameter is smaller than the diameter of the medal. Fedot Shubin was an 18th-century Russian sculptor who died in 1805. He attended the Royal Academy of Paris from 1767 for three years.
