Drachme sur un flan large, avec des types centrés et complets. Très beau revers de frappe vigoureuse. Avers un peu plus hétérogène et cristallisé avec une rayure derrière la nuque

Commentary

Cette drachme est rarissime ; elle a été frappée avec les coins de D1 et R2 de l’étude de 2012. Ce coin de revers R2 est caractéristique sans le C (ou torque) entre les jambes du taureau ; il n’est utilisé que pour les monnaies B5 et B6 de l’étude.
Concernant le DT. 3368 les auteurs du Nouvel Atlas mentionnent une similitude avec les bronzes carnutes COIIAT. Nous aurions peut-être le prototype de cette série de bronze avec cette drachme !.
This drachma is extremely rare; it was struck with the dies of D1 and R2 of the 2012 study. This reverse die R2 is characteristic without the C (or torque) between the legs of the bull; it is only used for coins B5 and B6 of the study. Concerning the DT. 3368 the authors of the New Atlas mention a similarity with the COIIAT carnute bronzes. We might have the prototype of this series of bronze with this drachma!
